Information collected from online city directories, US Census records, obituaries and other sources. Not all city directories for this period are online. Information printed in any directory may have been collected during the previous year. While a cut off year of 1960 is given, there are some entries for later years.

 

City directories are not perfect and contain many errors and omissions. While every effort was made to be as accurate as possible, there are bound to be errors herein.

 

The term “listed as a photographer” indicates that person was most likely working for another person, or in some cases was in business as a photographer but an address was not listed.
