On the 1902 Sanborn Fire Insurance maps, 731 and 733 are a single, three-story building at the north west corner of South Adams and Oak, listed as “Meyer Building, furnished rooms.” The first floor of the building is divided in half down the center, with a stair well at the front. There are four skylights on the second floor. Attached at the rear is a one-story addition and at the north property line a horse shed, which ends at the alley. This property first appears in a city directory in 1897, with the address not listed in the previous seven years. The building was destroyed by fire and demolished sometime in the 1990s and the property is now part of the Dozer Park baseball complex.
