On the 1902 Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps, 722-724-726 South Adams are all in a single, three-story, building on the river side of the street, just north of Oak and listed as Hotel Mitchell. 722 is listed as the bar, 724 as the office and 726 as the dining room, with a kitchen attached. At the rear of the three-story building are several additions of two and two and a half stories. At the rear of the building is a one-story stable marked as 726 ½ and a group of smaller buildings listed as 726 1/3, which run along the alley.

 

The building at 722-724-726 South Adams still stands and appears to be vacant. There is ghost writing on both the north and south sides of the building.
