In the 1902 Sanborn Fire Insurance Atlas, 114-116 South Adams is on the river side of the street, about mid-block. It is a three-story building with stairs and a two-story addition at the rear with an elevator, with a width of street to alley.

 

In the same atlas, the same block ends at 126 South Adams. 134 South Adams does not appear on the map. The addresses along Fulton, starting at the alley, are 216, 218, 220 and 222 Fulton

 

The current Google maps view of this section of the 100 block of South Adams, shows the Chase bank at the corner of Adams and Fulton, and the Caterpillar Merchandise Center in the middle of the block. The Chase building is now owned by Caterpillar.
